Bixby Knolls House

The mission of Welcome Home Oasis (WHO) is to create a safe haven for those impacted by the justice system where family, wellness, and empowerment lead to lasting transformation. By prioritizing a home-like setting, we nurture emotional, physical, and familial well-being, helping youth heal and rebuild their lives with the love and warmth of family.

This less restrictive program (LRP), the “Welcome Home Oasis House,” will provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for transitional-age young men returning from juvenile detention. Located in a seven-bedroom home in Bixby Knolls, Long Beach, the program will provide comprehensive support focusing on multiple aspects of reintegration: emotional well-being, family reunification, skill-building and career development, and stability.
